Note: Guests should arrive the previous day at José María Córdova International Airport where you will be transferred and checked into your hotel.
Monday - Day 1
Start your journey with a warm welcome over breakfast and introductions at the hotel, where Sebastián Marroquín himself will set the tone for this unforgettable adventure. Explore Medellín, the vibrant city that shaped Pablo Escobar's empire, with a guided bus tour through its iconic streets.
Sebastián will share personal stories and insights into the places that were integral to his father’s life and where he brought joy to his community. Embark on a traditional Chiva bus for a 2 hour trip making regular stops at historic landmarks such as Parque del Poblado, Barefoot Park, Parques del Río, Botero Plaza, before finishing at Pueblito Paisa
After a delicious lunch, dive deeper into his legacy at the Museum Escobar, where Sebastián will point out artifacts and share untold stories from his family history. Return to the hotel for dinner and reflections on an insightful first day. After dinner, Sebastián will join the group for an evening of rhythm and fun at a vibrant salsa bar, where you can dance the night away with the man who lived through the Escobar legacy.
Tuesday - Day 2
Begin with a hearty breakfast before heading to Barrio Pablo Escobar, a neighbourhood built by Pablo himself for the less fortunate. Walk through its colourful streets as Sebastián introduces you to its unique history and meet a resident family who has lived there since its creation. Listen as they share firsthand how their lives were shaped by Escobar's controversial generosity, with Sebastián adding his own perspective.
Enjoy lunch within the barrio, giving you time to absorb its vibrant atmosphere. spend time visiting a local youth football team and learn their story and join us as we continually support them. Next, visit the iconic Monaco building, a once-luxurious property that became a symbol of his power and conflict, as Sebastián recounts personal memories tied to this place.
Spend your free time exploring Medellín’s bustling town centre, soaking in the local culture and shopping. Later depart to the vibrant city of Doradal for the night as we head to the town where Hacienda Napoles is situated, enjoy the breathtaking surrounding scenery on our 3 hour evening bus ride as we stop off for dinner along the way before checking into a hotel in the area for the night.
Wednesday - Day 3
After hotel breakfast, arrive early at Escobar’s sprawling estate-turned-theme park. Walk the grounds with Sebastián as he recounts vivid childhood memories of growing up in this opulent environment. Learn about the exotic animals, private airstrips, and grandiose displays of wealth that characterized Pablo’s larger-than-life persona.
This immersive experience offers a mix of awe and reflection, with Sebastián sharing his personal journey of understanding his father’s impact. guests will have free time after the tour to further explore the grounds, take photographs and enjoy the optional waterpark.
After a long and enriching day, return to the hotel in Medellin for a well-deserved time to unwind.
Thursday - Day 4
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast before heading to a traditional coffee plantation. Sebastián will guide you through the intricate coffee-making process, sharing stories of his father’s favourite blends and how coffee played a role in their family’s life, enjoy a traditional dinner inside the plantation.
Next, visit the infamous Cathedral prison, a luxurious facility Escobar built to house himself. Share snacks at the site as Sebastián recounts gripping stories about the prison’s history and its significance in Pablo’s life, on this trip we will be joined by a former member of the ‘Search Bloc’ which was a Special Operations unit lead by Colonel Hugo Martinez which sole purpose was to take down Pablo Escobar. The former Colombian National Police officer will share inside stories of his hunt for Pablo Escobar.
as we return to the hotel, we make a stop by the building where Pablo met his demise.
The day concludes with a special Champagne dinner featuring Pablo’s favorite dishes, here Sebastián will share intimate memories and stories, offering a rare glimpse into their family life.
Friday - Day 5
Wrap up your journey with a final breakfast and a group catch-up session with Sebastián, reflecting on the week’s powerful experiences.
Then, visit Pablo Escobar’s grave, where Sebastián will share personal reflections and lead a moment of quiet contemplation. Take group photos at this historic site, marking the end of an unforgettable journey.
Guests leaving will be escorted to the airport, while those continuing to the Guatapé retreat will prepare to embark on the next chapter of their adventure.

09:00 - Breakfast and introductions at hotel.
10:30 - How it all began, tour around Medellin itself in our traditional Chiva tour bus.
13:30 - Lunch.
15:00 - Museum Escobar.
19:00 - Back to hotel for dinner.
20:00 – invitation to salsa bar (2hrs).
WEDNESDAY 30th September Day 2
09:00 - Breakfast at hotel.
10:30 - Tour bus to take us to first stop:
11:00 - Bario Pablo Escobar - visiting the neighbourhood that Paulo built for the people and also a talk with one of the residents and her family who have lived there since the creation of this town.
14:00 -Lunch IN THE BARRIO.
15:30 - Monaco building.
Free time, street shopping in Medellin town centre.
18:00 - Depart by minibus to the city of Doradal, checking into the hotel for the evening ready for the next days adventure at Hacienda Napoles.
THURSDAY 1st October Day 3
07:30- Breakfast at the hotel.
08:30 - Arrive at Hacienda Napoles for a walk through tour with Sebastian, lunch inside the Hacienda, after the tour enjoy free time around the Hacienda, including the optional waterpark features.
18:00 - return to the hotel in Medellin, stopping for dinner on the way.
21:00 Arrive back to hotel.
FRIDAY 2nd October Day 4
08:00 - Breakfast at the hotel.
09:00 - Coffee plantation tour, with dinner
14:00 - Cathedral prison (picnic at site with stories from Sebastian & Search Bloc officer) .
17:00 - Stop off at the building where Pablo met his demise.
18:00 - Dinner - Pablos favourite dinner with Champage and traditional Colombian cocktails.
SATURDAY 3rd October Day 5
08:00 - Final breakfast. Group catch up.
09:00 - Pablos’s grave - group pictures.
11:00 Checkout from hotel /Depart.
